A whole slate of clients recently have told me they've been feeling a lot! Deep sadness, a longing to contribute more, a need to stand up against injustice (not surprising with recent events many people feel the need to protest!)
But also unearthing past wounds and limiting beliefs that seem ready to be healed and released.
What's up with that?
When I check their natal charts, I discover they all have planets or other important points (midheaven MC, ascendant AC, lunar nodes, or even their own natal Black Moon Lilith) between 5° to 9° in some sign, perhaps even in Cancer itself, where the New Moon / Sun / Black Moon Lilith conjunction will occur on June 29th at 7° Cancer.
Any planets or points between 5° and 9° are likely to be triggered by this astrological phenomenon.
Placements in the water signs of Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces are likely to trigger a strong flow of emotion with healing overtones. That's because they create 120° angles, which are typically associated with easily accessible gifts and positive experiences.
Placements in Libra, Aries, or Capricorn are likely to feel more challenging, requiring you to take action or reconcile seemingly opposed impulses. That's because they create 90° or 180° angles, a bit like being in the spiritual gym - hard work, but you get stronger as a result!
It might even feel like life and other people are working against your impulse to fight for what you believe in and bring your vision into reality. Don't worry, it's all part of the plan to help you recognize your power and determination through oppositions or obstacles.
Leo and Gemini are new beginnings; Taurus and Virgo mean you have something to learn; Sagittarius and Aquarius placements say something requires tweaking!

Which Lilith is which?
This conjunction involves Black Moon Lilith, the empty spot at one focus of the moon's elliptical orbit - the other focus is the earth itself - designated by a crescent moon over a small cross.

The asteroid Lilith is indicated in a chart by the word "Lilith'' written out. (That's also an interesting object but not the subject of this post!)
But wait, there's more...
The conjunction's impact is strengthened by a square from Jupiter in Aries.
This expands Black Moon Lilith's emotional or healing effect, especially in learning more about what you deeply desire and shedding social conditioning or old messages that restrict you from following your individual path.
Spirit is sending a lot of energy to nudge, prod, poke, or perhaps push you off the ledge to actually be honest about what you really want for yourself and what you deeply long to see in society.
So what does this mean for you?
This conjunction calls you to expand your ability to nurture yourself and others, probably in a public or visible way, by taking a stand for something you believe in even if your position isn't universally popular - like writing this email, in my case!
Because it's Lilith in Cancer (a sign related to starting a new emotional cycle or experience) it's common to have intense feelings, especially relating to past rejection or fears that you're ahead of the curve and support hasn't quite caught up with you yet.
You might feel isolated or alone or bear the burden of having to take the first step being honest or reconciling with others. Be reassured, though, you are leading us all in a good direction.
Lilith is associated with people like Martin Luther King Jr., Clara Barton, or Temple Grandin who used their unique vision to encourage positive change in society.
But there's often pain, sadness, or fear in taking the first step. Be gentle with yourself as you work through any emotional or life challenges.
